Role & responsibilities

oversees a product's entire lifecycle, from initial market research and idea generation to product launch and ongoing management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Management:

    Manage the entire life cycle of a product from concept to market launch and beyond.
  • Market & Consumer Research:

    Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, market trends, and potential product opportunities.
  • Product Strategy:

    Develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps, aligning them with business goals.
  • Product Development:

    Generate detailed product requirements, specifications, and production timetables.
  • Marketing & Positioning:

    Define the product's positioning, develop marketing strategies, and support product launch activities.
  • Pricing & Profitability:

    Develop pricing strategies and plans to ensure product profitability.
  • Competitive Analysis:

    Assess the competitive landscape and position the company's products effectively against competitors.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

    Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and R&D, throughout the product development process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills:

    Strong logical and analytical skills to interpret market data and consumer insights.
  • Project Management:

    Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Consumer Understanding:

    Keen insight into consumer behavior, needs, and desires.
  • Strategic Thinking:

    Ability to translate business goals into product initiatives and develop long-term product visions.
  • Communication:

    Excellent communication skills to present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Adaptability:

    Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Understanding of the FMCG sector, including its products, market dynamics, and regulations.
  • To reach the Sales Target and Good selling knowledge.

Experience : Experience in FMCG product selling is mandatory.

.Qualification : BSC / MSC / Diploma in Food Technology is compulsory.
