Product Merchandiser

You will be responsible for strategizing with the Product/Brand head to develop the overall product roadmap in order to support aggressive growth plans. This involves analyzing consumer demand dynamics, market & competition dynamics, and establishing long-term goals for the product while keeping short-term objectives in mind. Furthermore, you will support the Sales team in launching new products, collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Production, and Supply Chain for product launches, segmentation, managing product lifecycle, margins, inventory, costing, and development of new products. Your role will also include analyzing customer feedback, brainstorming new product ideas, researching emerging technologies, evaluating product success based on sales volume and customer satisfaction levels, and assisting in finalizing brand range architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Strategize with Product/Brand head on the product roadmap - Establish long-term goals while considering short-term objectives - Support Sales team in launching new products - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product launches and segmentation - Analyze customer feedback for product improvements - Brainstorm new product ideas with designers and stakeholders - Research emerging technologies for growth opportunities - Evaluate product success based on performance metrics - Assist in brand range architecture finalization - Support Season launch management - Conduct market research and competition analysis - Visit markets and vendors to select new product collections - Review stock allocation with Sales and merchandising teams - Manage orders and vendors for on-time deliveries - Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience in product merchandising or product management from a leading menswear brand - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Management or Buying/Merchandising from NIFT (Mandatory) About the Company: The Turtle Clothing Company, established in Kolkata in 1993, has been at the forefront of delivering global styling and inspirations to the Indian market.
