Product Lifecycle Management:
Lead the development and management of genomic diagnostic products, including genetic testing kits and bioinformatics software, throughout their entire lifecycle. Define product strategies, manage roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business goals. Set and drive yearly target ranges for genomics products, ensuring performance meets expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, sales, clinical operations, bioinformatics, and regulatory teams to translate complex genomic technologies into market-leading products that meet customer needs and industry standards. Support the sales team through field visits, engage directly with clinicians, promote genomics tests, and actively participate in upselling initiatives to expand product adoption.
Market and Customer Insights:
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscape in genomic diagnostics. Use these insights to inform product development, positioning strategies, and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with market demands.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that genomic diagnostic products comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, including FDA, CE, and other applicable regulatory bodies, according to the target market.
Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor product performance, customer engagement, and market uptake. Analyze data to inform roadmap decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize product success. Proactively resolve queries raised by clinicians and the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Achieve Revenue-Driven Product Strategy
Align product goals with business revenue targets.
Responsible for achieving revenue for genomics segment
Prioritize features or products that have clear monetization potential.
Identify new revenue streams (e.g., subscriptions, upsells, freemium models).
Market and Customer Segmentation
