Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Product Manager - Ecommerce Digital Platform will be responsible for building and scaling a B2B marketplace for surgical and hospital supplies. This role combines digital product building, ecommerce execution, and growth marketing, with a strong leaning toward customer acquisition, platform usability, and repeat usage.

This is a hands-on digital product builder role.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Product Development

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the ecommerce website & app
• Work with designers, developers, and vendors to:

1. Build and enhance the website & app and backend systems

2. Improve user experience for hospitals, surgeons, and procurement teams

• Translate business requirements into clear product specs and user flows

Marketplace & Catalog Management

• Structure and manage the B2B product catalogue across surgical, medical, and hospital supplies
• Define pricing logic having factored in the profitability logic decided by the group, vendor onboarding flows, and order management processes
• Ensure scalability and ease of navigation across categories

Growth, Marketing & Customer Acquisition

• Design and execute digital growth strategies:

1. Performance marketing

2. SEO & content driven

3. Email and WhatsApp campaigns

4. Surgeon/hospital outreach programs

• Track funnels, conversion metrics, CAC, repeat usage, and GMV growth

Go-to-Market & Adoption

• Work closely with sales and partners to onboard Hospitals, Nursing homes, Surgical centres
• Run campaigns and pilots to drive early traction and repeat usage

Ideal Background & Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Ecommerce product management, Digital platforms or marketplaces
• Hands-on experience building Websites, Apps, Digital assets, Online marketplaces
• Strong exposure to growth marketing and digital acquisition
• Experience in medical/healthcare ecommerce is a strong advantage
• Excellent Excel Skills & Presentation Skills, ability to leverage AI platforms
