Product Manager

Must Have:

• Capital Markets Experience needed (must)
• Data Governance (Data Controls and Lineage)

• Lineage:

  When the Trading Data originates from the Trading System - how does it transform (how does it change - compared to the origination). Tells you how the data travel from one hop to another did (there are some industry tools)

• Controls

  : Each hop has some controls for every scenario

• Tools/ Similar Tools the person should know

   : Collibra (shows which point comes from where what control can be applied)

• Gen AI Usage

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture and document 

  data lineage

   across trade and post-trade systems (e.g., ingestion, enrichment, reporting).
• Work with architects to define 

  lineage frameworks

   that are scalable, auditable, and aligned with regulatory expectations (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR, Dodd-Frank).
• Work closely with product teams and data architects to model 

  system interactions and data transformation logic

  .
• Leverage 

  AI tools

   to pre-populate lineage metadata, identify transformation candidates, and reduce manual documentation.
• Develop and maintain 

  lineage artifacts

  : system dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules.
• Ensure lineage documentation is traceable and auditable across the enterprise.
• Support 

  data governance and control

  teams with lineage artifacts for regulatory reporting and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with the metadata team to integrate lineage into governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Solidatus).

Required Skills:

• 10+ years in 

  data architecture, data modeling, or data consulting

   roles in capital markets.
• Deep understanding of 

  capital markets products

  , trade lifecycle, and data flows (e.g., bonds, equities, repos, securities lending).
• Strong understanding of 

  trade lifecycle

   and related data flows.
• Strong experience with 

  data lineage strategy

  , metadata modeling, and lineage documentation tools (e.g., Collibra, Solidatus, Informatica, Alation, or similar).
• Proven experience with 

  data lineage documentation

  , preferably in complex financial environments.
• Familiarity with 

  industry schemas

   (FpML, FIX, ISO 20022).
• Proficiency with 

  metadata tools

   and 

  lineage accelerators

  .
• Experience working in projects that involved 

  automation or AI/ML

   for metadata or lineage capture is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and querying complex data systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
