As an Executive Director within the 55ip team, you will spearhead initiatives and serve as the India Product Team Site Lead. You will report directly to the Head of Product and focus on overseeing 55ip product initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in promoting collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Operations, and Quant, to develop and deliver innovative products and platforms tailored for asset and wealth management. Job responsibilities Delivery of product roadmap by effectively leading a talented, diverse, equitable, and inclusive team of product managers. This involves fostering an environment that values diverse perspectives and encourages innovation and collaboration. Provide strategic guidance and coaching to team members, fostering opportunities for career growth and cultivating a positive and dynamic team culture within our India offices located in Mumbai and Bangalore. Lead the team through the entire lifecycle of product development, from initial discovery and conceptualization to development and successful go-to-market activities. This involves guiding the team in creating innovative products that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations. Manage product delivery efforts by collaborating with a team of world-class Product Managers, Engineers and Designers. Work closely with Technology teams to optimize Agile work practices, ensuring efficient and effective product development processes. Partner with Technology and Quant teams to gain a deep understanding of delivery plans and align resources effectively to meet roadmap objectives. Collaborate with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Develop and implement plans to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement across the organization. Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration among Product Managers, key stakeholders, and business units. This collaboration is essential for aligning on product design, requirements, and delivery, ensuring that all parties are working towards common objectives. Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and alignment among diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives and deliver high-quality products. Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive reporting frameworks to track progress, measure success, and provide actionable insights to Product leadership, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Over ten years of experience in Product Management and Product Delivery within WealthTech, Fintech, or Investment Technology, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry dynamics and innovation. More than ten years of collaborative experience working seamlessly across Product, Technology, and Design teams. Five years of close partnership across the organization, including sales, operations, and marketing, to drive cohesive and strategic initiatives. Six or more years of experience in hiring, managing, and coaching product and project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Proven critical thinking and analytical leadership skills, enabling the development of strategic insights and solutions to complex challenges. Skilled in delivering presentations to senior executive audiences. Proficient in using project management tools like MS Project for planning, including cross-initiative dependency management, and project execution. Holds a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Expertise in structuring and leveraging Confluence and JIRA for comprehensive initiative and sprint tracking, ensuring transparency and efficiency in project workflows. Experience in building and launching innovative Fintech, Investment, or WealthTech products and platforms, contributing to the advancement of financial technology solutions. Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals and drive transformative change. Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing practices that enhance team performance, streamline product development, and deliver high-quality solutions in dynamic environments; Agile Scrum Master certification is a plus.
