Product Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design engaging physical products, models, and DIY kits for students (Grades 1–12).
• Translate educational or functional concepts into interactive, manufacturable prototypes.
• Collaborate with the R&D, Production, and Content teams to align product form and function with learning outcomes.
• Prepare 2D/3D design drafts using basic CAD tools .
• Select suitable materials, mechanisms, and finishes ensuring durability, safety, and appeal.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for CNC cutting, laser engraving, or 3D printing.
• Participate in testing, feedback, and iteration of prototypes.
• Document design specifications and maintain version control of product models.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of product design fundamentals and design thinking process.
• Familiarity with CNC operations and 3D printing.
• Strong sense of form, proportion, and functional design.
• Understanding of materials, tolerances, and assembly methods.
• Creative problem-solving and visualization skills.
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into physical form.
• Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced design environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Design, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in STEM/DIY kits, educational products, or prototype design is a plus.
• Working knowledge of basic 2D/3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or SketchUp).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
