Product Design Manager

Role Overview: At Tide, you will work collaboratively with Product Managers, Technical Owners, and senior stakeholders to define strategic objectives and goals. Your responsibilities will include identifying and prioritizing product roadmap initiatives, driving the implementation of strategic initiatives, championing Design practices, and leading and mentoring a small team of Product designers globally. Key Responsibilities: - Identify & prioritize product roadmap initiatives within a business area to define opportunities for Tide and its members - De-risk initiatives by closely working with research, product, and engineering teams to understand and solve problems - Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives by delivering well-considered outcomes incrementally - Partner with Product Engineering to ensure delivery aligns with the vision and continuously improve ways of working - Champion Design practices effectively across Tide, encourage a member-centric approach, and showcase team achievements - Lead and mentor a small team of Product designers globally to achieve brilliant results and provide clear career development Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a comparable UX Design or Product Design role, preferably in a SaaS company - Experience leading a small Product Design Squad or playing a key role in designing and launching world-class products in a fast-growing company - Proficiency in Product Design methodologies, especially Design Thinking, and user-centered design activities - Ability to simplify objectives and projects to deliver efficiently, working closely with Product Management and Engineering - Proficiency in leading design reviews and using design tools such as Figma, experience in user testing and research methodologies - Comfortable working in an agile scale-up environment, being data-driven, and using tools like Looker, Heap, GA, Hotjar for design decisions Additional Company Details: Tide promotes a flexible workplace model supporting both in-person and remote work to cater to team needs.
