Job Description

As an experienced professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing end-to-end procurement and purchasing operations. Your responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and vendors, handling purchase requisitions, vendor management, and order processing. You will ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of raw materials, goods, and services while monitoring inventory levels, tracking delivery schedules, and ensuring on-time fulfillment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and finance will be essential in optimizing sourcing strategies and driving cost savings. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, familiarity with purchase order systems, and procurement best practices are required. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing operations - Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors - Handle purchase requisitions, vendor management, and order processing - Ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of raw materials, goods, and services - Monitor inventory levels, track delivery schedules, and ensure on-time fulfillment - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and finance - Analyze purchase data, optimize sourcing strategies, and drive cost savings - Maintain and audit purchase records, contracts, and supplier performance metrics - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills - Familiarity with purchase order systems, and procurement best practices - Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management Job Type: Full-time In addition to the above, the job requires the ability to commute or relocate to Jalandhar, Punjab before starting work. Total work experience of 1 year is preferred.,
