Procurement Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with production schedules and business goals.
• Identify and source essential raw materials, components, and consumables required for manufacturing.
• Evaluate, select, and maintain a reliable supplier base; ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stock-outs or overstocking
• Oversee the entire purchase order processfrom requisition to order placement, tracking, and delivery confirmation
• Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring adherence to legal, commercial, and compliance terms.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that incoming materials meet technical and quality standards.
• Monitor market trends, price movements, and supplier capabilities to anticipate procurement needs and risks.
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews of supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Work closely with production, planning, maintenance, finance, and logistics departments to ensure procurement supports operations seamlessly.
• Utilize ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) for managing procurement data, approvals, and reporting.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team; set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and encourage continuous improvement.

Requirement Criteria :

• Candidate must have experience with manufacturing industry.
• Candidate must have good communication skill.
