Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager, your role will involve devising and implementing effective sourcing strategies to discover profitable suppliers and establish beneficial partnerships with businesses. You will be responsible for negotiating with external vendors to secure favorable terms, approving necessary purchases, and finalizing details of orders and deliveries. Additionally, you will examine existing contracts, track key metrics to reduce expenses, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align on specifications and expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Devise and utilize effective sourcing strategies - Identify profitable suppliers and establish partnerships - Negotiate with vendors for advantageous terms - Approve purchase orders and necessary services - Finalize purchase details and oversee deliveries - Monitor and evaluate existing contracts - Track and report key functional metrics for cost reduction - Collaborate with key stakeholders for clarity on specifications - Anticipate changes in negotiation dynamics with suppliers and clients - Analyze data to forecast unfavorable events and develop control strategies - Manage risks associated with supply contracts and agreements - Control spending and promote long-term savings on procurement costs Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Officer, or Head of Procurement - Familiarity with sourcing and procurement techniques - Strong negotiation and networking skills - Proficiency in supplier or third-party management software - Decision-making skills and numerical aptitude - Experience in data collection and analysis - Strong leadership qualities In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company also provides benefits including cell phone reimbursement, leave encashment, paid sick time, and paid time off.
