We are looking for a Procurement Manager to manage all the purchasing activities from sourcing to delivery, for all our custom interior design projects. Your main job will be to find and order products we need for the clients, from curtains to furniture, making sure we get the best quality for the best price. You will work closely with our designers and vendors to make sure all materials arrive on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• In-charge to buy materials for our client request quotations, such as curtains, wallpaper, furniture fabric and others.
• Work with Vendors to build strong relationships with suppliers both in India and from other countries.
• Negotiate for good prices, payment terms, and delivery times for all purchases.
• Manage and keep track of the budget for each project to make sure we don't spend too much money.
• Work with our internal teams to understand what materials they need and when they need it.
• Manage the entire buying process, from placing an order to tracking it until it's delivered to us.
• Inspect all incoming materials to make sure they are exactly what we ordered and are of high quality.
• Handle any issues with suppliers, like late deliveries or wrong items.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Candidate with 6-10 years of experience preferred in a buying or purchasing role. Experience in interior design or luxury goods is a big plus. Other industries are also most welcome.
• Any Bachelor's college degree in Business or Supply Chain is a plus.
• You are an excellent negotiator.
• You are good at using Microsoft Excel to manage data.
• You can build good relationships with people.
• You must have good communication skills in English, Tamil. Speaking and understanding Hindi is a must because we work with customers all over India.
• You must be able to speak and write well in English, Tamil, and Hindi (since we work with customers all over India).

Preferred candidate profile:

Any candidate with 6+ years of experience who can manage the Product procurements with vendors, co-ordinate with vendors from order placement to timely product deliveries enabling quality client product installations.

Good Accountability and team player will be a plus.
