Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Assistant, your role will involve assisting in the identification and sourcing of suppliers for materials and services. You will support the procurement team by preparing purchase orders (POs) and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating with suppliers to track delivery schedules and order status, maintaining records of purchases and pricing, and monitoring inventory levels for replenishment needs. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers for materials and services. - Support in preparing purchase orders (POs) and ensuring proper documentation. - Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order status. - Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. - Assist in tracking inventory levels and replenishment needs. - Liaise with internal departments (production, accounts, warehouse) for smooth procurement operations. - Help in resolving purchase-related queries or discrepancies. - Maintain and update the supplier database. - Provide administrative support to the procurement team. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in procurement or related field is preferred. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office applications. - Ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
