You will be responsible for procurement for the DG Plants located at Kalsar & Phaltan, ensuring alignment with business requirements by standardizing purchase processes, implementing flexible planning & control procedures, and maintaining timely completion of all processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Procurement of All A, B & C Class Raw Material - Product & local Vendor development through assessment of Cost, Quality, Technology, market share of potential vendors - Evaluation of Technical specifications and preparation of RFQ/RA - Zero Based/Shadow costing to determine tentative cost of commodity considering raw material input, manufacturing cost, etc. - Development of policy/process/SOP for procurement to ensure smooth functioning of supply chain in alignment with Business needs - Establishment of supply chain processes and systems to ensure transparency and compliance with corporate standards - Development and evaluation of new and existing suppliers to maintain a robust supply base - Achievement of cost targets through negotiation with suppliers - Communication with Stakeholders for smooth functioning of SCM process - Coordination with PPC for MRP and Clubbing of PRs - Upholding the core values of the company within self and team members **Qualification Required:** - Educational qualifications preferred: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Management - Required work experience: - 5 to 10 years of experience in Purchase - Required Skills: - All-around knowledge of Plant related Purchases like Raw material, maintenance items, and RC Item - Vendor relationship management - Sense of ownership and pride in performance for the company's success - Expertise in team building - Required abilities: - Positive thinking - Analytical Approach - PV Formula Based Costing / Zero Base Costing - Honesty and Integrity - Passion to learn - Team worker - Leadership skills including mentoring & motivating team - Time management skills,
