Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Head with a solid

background in civil engineering to lead the procurement department for our luxury

5-star hotel. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the

hospitality industry and civil engineering, bringing a strategic approach to sourcing,

negotiating, and managing suppliers for the hotels construction, renovation, and

daily operational needs. This role demands a senior leader with proven expertise in

procurement processes, project management, and a thorough knowledge of civil

engineering materials and services.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or a

related field.

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in

a leadership role within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including materials,

construction processes, and project management.

• Understanding of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and

plumbing Equipements and Materials

• Knowledge of the construction industry and MEP standards for construction

projects.

• Demonstrated experience in managing procurement for both operational

supplies and large-scale hotel development/renovation projects.

• Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of securing cost savings and

high-value contracts.

• Strong understanding of hotel operations, especially in the areas of

engineering, construction, and guest services.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office

Suite.

• Certification in Procurement Management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) or Project

Management (e.g., PMP).
