Procurement Executive

As a Procurement Executive for Solar Projects at our company, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the end-to-end procurement activities related to solar projects. This includes tasks such as supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. You will work closely with various cross-functional teams like engineering, project execution, and finance to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and services. Your role will also involve developing and implementing procurement strategies to guarantee cost-efficiency, quality assurance, and adherence to project timelines. Conducting thorough market research to identify reliable suppliers and building a robust vendor base will be crucial aspects of your job. You will be expected to evaluate and compare supplier proposals based on pricing, product quality, and delivery commitments. Negotiating contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure favorable deals will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards. Identifying procurement risks and implementing mitigation strategies, managing procurement budgets, maintaining cost records, and accurately tracking expenses are key components of this role. Staying informed about market trends, price fluctuations, and new technologies in the solar procurement domain will be essential to your success. To excel in this position, you should possess strong negotiation and vendor management skills, knowledge of solar project components, an understanding of supply chain processes and contract laws, excellent communication and documentation abilities, proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software, as well as analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. If you have 2-5 years of experience in solar or renewable energy procurement, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and preferably an MBA in Supply Chain or a related specialization, we encourage you to apply for this position.
