Job Description

Role Overview: As a Procurement Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to understand procurement policies and processes in order to provide delivery support for various procurement projects. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and possessing a basic understanding of the stakeholder community within your assigned work area will be crucial for success in this role. Your proactive approach towards stakeholders/clients and comprehensive knowledge of procurement policies will be essential for your effectiveness. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring process adherence, and promptly raising any issues that may arise. You will also be involved in identifying, reporting, and participating in the implementation of process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an understanding of procurement policies and processes to provide delivery support for procurement projects - Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating basic knowledge of the stakeholder community - Maintain a proactive attitude towards stakeholders/clients and ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes - Contribute to a positive team culture, monitor process adherence, and escalate issues when necessary - Identify, report, and participate in the implementation of process improvements Qualifications Required: - Support the adoption of procurement solutions and handle inquiries professionally and client-centrically - Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align them towards procurement solutions - Follow procedures and work instructions provided by the supervisor, supporting adherence to existing processes - Demonstrate basic knowledge of relevant processes and procedures - Act in accordance with overall procurement policies and processes - Strive to simplify, standardize, and improve processes with the approval of senior professionals - Seek opportunities to enhance stakeholder/client satisfaction through continuous improvement Additional Company Details: Omit this section as no additional company information is provided in the job description.,
