Procurement Associate Director

The Procurement Associate Director/Director will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring necessary materials, equipment, including construction, renovation, or maintenance. This involves identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery while adhering to budget and quality standards. Key responsibilities may include researching and identifying qualified vendors for infrastructure components such as building materials, electrical systems, and HVAC units. The role also involves sourcing specialized equipment based on technical requirements and price competitiveness. Designing sourcing strategies for different infrastructure categories considering market trends, cost optimization, and risk management is an essential aspect of the position. Other responsibilities include preparing and issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, and selecting the most suitable vendors based on technical capabilities and pricing. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance metrics, and addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing are crucial tasks for the Procurement Associate Director/Director. Analyzing procurement costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing budget constraints throughout the project lifecycle are key aspects of the role. Ensuring adherence to all relevant procurement policies, regulations, and legal requirements is also a critical responsibility.
