Procurement and Inventory Executive

As a Procurement Manager in our company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our organisational needs and budget. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating favourable contracts, and finalising terms. - Planning, forecasting, and managing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment. - Maintaining accurate records of procurement, inventory, and vendor contracts using inventory management systems. - Conducting regular audits and inventory reconciliations to resolve discrepancies. - Building, nurturing, and evaluating relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries. - Monitoring vendor performance, establishing metrics, and providing feedback for improvement. - Managing the end-to-end purchasing process including purchase requisitions, orders, deliveries, receipts, and documentation. - Collaborating with internal teams to understand material requirements and forecast future needs. - Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and supply chain optimisation. - Ensuring compliance with organisational procurement policies and relevant legal requirements. - Addressing and resolving supplier issues, returns, or service disruptions promptly.
