Process Lead

The position of Process Lead at the Nashik Plant within India Foods Business holds the responsibility of driving out process losses across the platform by utilizing data and effective problem-solving techniques. The role reports to the Platform Manager and is located in Malegaon, Sinnar, Nashik. The Nashik plant supports various businesses including bakeries, retail cake mixes, food service chains, ready-to-eat frozen products, and frozen dough products for both domestic and international markets. The main purpose of the Process Lead is to ensure the reduction of process losses by developing multi-skilled and autonomous teams and maintaining data integrity. This includes leading loss analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in coordination with other team members. Key responsibilities of the Process Lead include acting as an engaging leader, driving safety and process loss results, supporting the development of platform members, and ensuring data accuracy for identifying and eliminating losses. The role also involves supporting the daily management systems, executing improvement plans, applying data analysis tools, and implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) to reduce losses. Additionally, the Process Lead is responsible for coaching problem-solving methodologies, fostering collaboration across teams, partnering with the Engineering organization, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or food science, along with 4-6 years of experience in manufacturing, especially in the FMCG or food industry. The Process Lead at the Nashik Plant will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the safety and quality of products through effective leadership and technical expertise.,
