Job Description

You are applying for the position of Manager - Process Engineering at Lenovo located in NOIDA, NCR. As the Manager - Process Engineering, you will play a crucial role in mobile phone manufacturing, specifically in SMT/Assembly processes. Your responsibilities will include managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with EMS partners and ODMs, and ensuring successful NPI and mass production of mobile phones. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in mobile phone manufacturing processes and process machine management. Your skills should encompass expertise in equipment and fixture development, familiarity with manufacturing yield, capacity calculation, PFMEA, CP & CPK, and experience in handling Engineering Change Notes. Additionally, you should be adept at translating data into actionable insights, driving improvement projects for process optimization, and leading cost-saving initiatives. Your key responsibilities will involve identifying process bottlenecks, maintaining process and equipment specifications through regular audits, optimizing process cycle time, managing asset details, reviewing NPI reports, and coordinating with ODMs and Lead site teams for smooth manufacturing processes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for local vendor development and fixture localization to ensure efficient operations.
