Process Engineer

You will be joining YES (Yield Engineering Systems, Inc.) as a Process Engineer in Sulur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. As a part of the team, you will contribute to the development of new processes, hardware, and controls to enhance film and productivity performance. Your responsibilities will include optimizing current processes, managing process development equipment, characterizing processes and films, evaluating system performance, and collaborating with customers and field personnel to improve processes. - Contribute and run development of new processes, hardware, and controls for enhanced film and productivity performance - Optimize current processes for polymer cure, monolayer coat, reflow, and PR strip/descum - Create, plan, and meet process project schedules - Manage process development equipment and metrology systems in the Apps Lab - Characterize and document processes and films - Evaluate and report system performance (software/hardware) - Start up new processes at customer sites and transfer technology to field process engineers - Work with customers and field personnel to define projects and execute CIP projects for process improvement - Perform customer demos of new processes, report performance, and interface with customers to solve their problems - Provide technical support to sales and marketing - Present and publish papers about results and apply statistical methods to design experiments - Define, write, and update process specifications, process instructions, BOMs, etc. - Train, develop, and provide work direction to operators, technicians, and junior-level engineers - BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering - Good understanding of semiconductor/MEMS/nano technology processes - Proven project management skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and deal with customers to analyze and solve process issues - Working understanding of quality statistical models and metrics (DOE, SPC, etc.) You must be willing to travel internationally and domestically up to 30% of the time for system training, process installation, and qualification.
