Responsibilities: -

Process Engineer - EPC

Scale Up of R&D trials.

• Transition of Lab Scale trials to Pilot and Production Scale trials.
• Prepare Trials sheets in coordination with Quality.
• Prepare Work Instructions, PFD, PFMEA and obtain approvals and format numbers from Quality.
  

Existing Process -EPC

• Conduct frequent process audits and implement corrective actions along with all functions
• Strengthen existing processes with new manufacturing methods
• Implement process optimization , manpower optimization projects
• Strengthen EPC process documentation
  

Quality Improvement

• Lead initiatives to reduce in-process rejections, scrap, and rework across manufacturing lines.
• Conduct RCA and implement CAPA.
• Drive improvements in EPC in the form of POKA YOKE and KAIZEN.
• Establish process monitoring systems and improve quality parameters.
  

Continual Improvement (CI)

• Identify and implement Productivity Improvement Projects.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and deploy low-cost automation.
• Layout optimization, and ergonomic improvements.
• Track project progress using the Scorecard.
• Visual Management projects across factory
• Drive Process simplification and standardization
  

General

• Identify and implementing VAVE projects and meet the department target.
• Review and develop SOPs and train production personnel on the same
• Installation, commissioning of machines / production lines
• Work for process safety enhancement by identifying safety risks
• Effective participation in Continuous Improvement Culture ( Kaizen , 5’S Improvement )
