Job Description

As a Claims Processor at our company in Mohali, you will be responsible for processing claims in line with required service standards and delegated authority. This includes collating information from correct sources, challenging anomalies, and effectively communicating with customers, representatives, and veterinary practices to manage expectations throughout the claims process. You will proactively manage caseloads, correspondence across multiple channels, and claim costs. Additionally, you will update and maintain policy records accurately, liaise with internal and external customers via telephone and email, and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge regarding products, procedures, service, system, and frameworks. Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the Line Manager will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Process claims in line with required service standards and delegated authority. - Collate information from correct sources for accurate and fair assessment of all claims. - Challenge anomalies and decline invalid claims. - Communicate effectively with customers, representatives, and veterinary practices. - Proactively manage caseloads and multi-channel correspondence. - Manage claim costs efficiently. - Organize, record, and distribute incoming correspondence through multiple channels. - Update and maintain policy records accurately. - Liaise with internal and external customers via telephone and email. - Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge regarding products, procedures, service, system, and frameworks. Qualifications Required: - Willingness to learn the intricacies of Claims. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines. - Attention to detail. - Pro-active and self-motivated approach. - Experience in handling insurance claims. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and management. - Professional and proactive customer-focused outlook with a passion for high-level customer service.,
