Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for a family of five and six home staff members.
• Specialize in

  Continental/Western, Indian, and other cuisines

  as per family preferences.
• Follow recipes and instructions provided by the employer and designated staff.
• Maintain kitchen organization, including inventory tracking and stock management.
• Create

  weekly grocery lists

  and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of ingredients.
• Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and comply with hygiene and safety standards.
• Adhere to meal timelines and dietary preferences of the family.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and cooking areas.
• Ability to take direction from the employer and household staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a

  chef/cook

  in a private home or professional kitchen.
• Must be able to

  read, write, and understand English

  to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to manage meal planning and inventory efficiently.
• Ability to take direction from the employer and household staff.
• Experience in preparing a variety of cuisines, including

  Indian and Western dishes

  .
• Attention to detail and high standards for food preparation and hygiene.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours (6:30 AM - 7:30 PM).
