Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Private Chef located in Chennai. The Private Chef will be responsible for preparing daily meals, creating customized menus tailored to clients' preferences, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and ensuring impeccable presentation. Additionally, the Private Chef will oversee kitchen operations, maintain kitchen hygiene standards, and manage food inventory. The role demands creativity, flexibility, and an ability to cater to varying dietary requirements while delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in culinary arts, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Ability to source and select high-quality ingredients and manage food inventory
  • Strong understanding of dietary requirements and nutrition
  • Excellent kitchen management skills, including hygiene standards and equipment maintenance
  • Creativity and flexibility in catering to clients' preferences and tastes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or a degree in Culinary Arts
  • Previous experience working in luxury hospitality or private residences is a plus
