Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of High Net Worth Individuals (HNI) and Ultra HNI (UHNI) clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of wealth management products and offer end-to-end advisory and portfolio management solutions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a client-first approach, and the ability to manage an AUM portfolio exceeding 100 Cr. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Handle a portfolio of affluent HNI/UHNI clients with total AUM of 100 Cr and above. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering customized financial and investment solutions aligned with their long-term goals. Ensure client retention, satisfaction, and consistent engagement through proactive communication and reviews. Offer white-glove service through regular portfolio updates, market insights, and exclusive wealth management offerings. Wealth Management & Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on a wide range of wealth products including Mutual Funds, Insurance (LI/GI), SIPs, AIFs, PMS, Bonds, and Structured Products. Guide clients on family wealth planning, succession planning, and tax-efficient investment strategies. Collaborate with Private Banking Relationship Managers to offer seamless financial planning and estate management solutions. Business Development & Revenue Generation: Acquire new HNI/UHNI clients through networking, referrals, and strategic market mapping. Drive cross-sell of banking products including liability products, investment solutions, insurance, and digital banking services. Achieve defined revenue and sales targets through deepening wallet share and increasing AUM. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all client interactions, transactions, and advisory practices comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk frameworks. Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to KYC/AML norms. Attend product and compliance trainings regularly to stay informed on market and regulatory updates. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills with ability to build long-term relationships Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills In-depth understanding of wealth management, investment products, and financial planning Strategic thinking with strong analytical and decision-making ability High level of integrity and customer-centric approach Well-groomed, articulate, and professional demeanor Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related fields (MBA/CFP/CFA preferred) Minimum 8 years of experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking / Financial Advisory Proven track record in handling affluent clientele and large AUM portfolios (100 Cr+) IRDA, AMFI, or other relevant certifications preferred
