Printing Machine Operator

Job Title: Signage Printer Department: Production / Printing Location: No 95 & 96, Varalakshmi Nagar, Maduravoyal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600095 Job Summary: The Signage Printer is responsible for operating and maintaining large-format printing machines used for signage production. The role involves preparing print files, ensuring color accuracy, managing print quality, and coordinating with the design and fabrication teams to deliver high-quality signboards, vinyl, flex, and other printed materials on time. Key Responsibilities: *Operate and maintain large-format digital printers (such as Eco-solvent, UV, and Flex machines). *Prepare print-ready files and ensure correct color calibration. *Inspect printed materials for quality, color consistency, and accuracy. *Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of printing equipment. *Manage printing materials such as vinyl, flex, fabric, and ink inventory. *Coordinate with the design and production teams for timely job completion. *Follow safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards in the print area. *Keep production records and daily work reports updated. *Assist in lamination, cutting, and mounting processes when required. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 1+ years of experience in signage or large-format printing. Familiarity with printing machines such as Roland, Epson, HP, or similar models. Basic knowledge of design software (CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator) is an added advantage. Attention to detail and quality. Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple print jobs. Good teamwork and communication skills. Education: SSLC / Diploma / ITI in Printing Technology or related field preferred.
