Role Overview: As a member of the support organization, your main focus will be to deliver high-quality customer service to the Oracle database cloud customer base while acting as an advocate for customer needs. Your job profile will involve resolving technical issues primarily raised by customers through the customer portal. You will be responsible for taking ownership of customer-reported issues and ensuring the problems are seen through to resolution. Additionally, you will be tasked with researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve technical issues. It is essential to follow standard operating procedures for proper engagement of internal and external stakeholders. Qualification Required: - A degree in a relevant field from a recognized university. - B Tech / M Tech / BE / MCA / MSc or BSc in Computer Science. Additional Details: The company focuses on Autonomous Database, a cloud database that uses machine learning to automate database tuning, security, backups, updates, and other routine management tasks traditionally performed by DBAs. An Autonomous Database performs these tasks without human intervention, enhancing efficiency and reliability. Required Skills: - Working experience in Oracle Cloud Technologies, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - In-depth knowledge and working experience in Oracle Database Performance Tuning. - Strong Oracle DBA skills, with knowledge of SQL / PL/SQL. - Strong understanding of Oracle Database Performance Tuning methodologies, including SQL Tuning, Data Compression, Partitioning, and Materialized Views in RAC and Multitenant environments. - Ability to interpret and correlate AWR reports, TFA Logs, Exawatcher logs to troubleshoot complex performance issues. - Good understanding of Oracle product features such as Exadata, Clusterware, ASM, RAC, Dataguard, Golden Gate, Patching, etc. - Operating system knowledge (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows). - Programming skills in C or Java. - Preferred certifications in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and OCP. - Good working knowledge of other Oracle Database Areas, including Backup and Recovery, Dataguard, Real Application Clusters, and ASM. - Experience in operating systems (various Unix & Linux flavors), networking & hardware, and virtualization. Customer Management Skills: - Ability to understand customer problems and provide technical solutions promptly. - Understanding of customer urgency and sensitivity to the problem. - Confident communication and clear articulation with customers. - Efficiently working with demanding customers and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Independence and self-motivation. Work Experience: - 10+ years of experience in Performance Tuning, Administration, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance of the Oracle Database. - Working knowledge in Oracle Cloud or other leading cloud technologies. - Expertise in Oracle Database Performance Tuning, including Instance and SQL Tuning.,
