Principal Product Manager - US Residential Mortgage

Role Overview

As a Principal Product Manager for the JazzX Mortgage Application, you ll define and drive the product strategy for a next-generation AI platform transforming the U.S. mortgage lifecycle from origination and underwriting to fulfillment.

This is a rare opportunity to own the roadmap, shape the AI architecture, and deliver transformative enterprise impact in one of the most data- and process-intensive domains in financial services. What You ll Do

Set the Vision

• Define and communicate the multi-year product vision for the JazzX Mortgage Application, spanning borrower, loan officer, processor, underwriter, closer, funder, and all personas in the sales and fulfillment workflow.


• Position JazzX as the category leader in AI-powered mortgage automation, blending innovation in large language models with deep business utility.

Build the Roadmap

• Translate customer pain points and operational bottlenecks into an actionable AI-driven product roadmap.


• Collaborate with engineering, data, and research teams to design and prioritize models, agents, and orchestration pipelines that deliver measurable business outcomes.


• Oversee core product modules such as Sales AI (originations automation) and Fulfillment AI (underwriting and closing intelligence).

Lead with Technical Depth

• Dive deep into technical details, from model architectures to inference optimizations, guiding trade-offs between accuracy, latency, cost, and scalability.


• Act as a critical link between product strategy and engineering execution, influencing architectural decisions to support reliability and extensibility.

Drive Enterprise Impact

• Partner with customers, lenders, and industry experts to validate product-market fit and align feature development with real-world lending operations.


• Define and track key metrics such as automation coverage, loan cycle time reduction, and customer satisfaction.


• Continuously iterate based on user feedback, analytics, and market trends to maintain competitive leadership.

Mentor and Collaborate

• Lead cross-functional initiatives across UX, engineering, data, and GTM teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.


• Coach product managers on AI product development, experimentation frameworks, and scalable roadmap planning.

Drive Impact through Metrics

• Define and monitor success metrics such as inference latency, model accuracy, customer satisfaction, and platform adoption.


• Iterate rapidly on platform features based on user feedback and market trends to maintain competitive leadership.

Experience & Achievements

• 8+ years in product management with a focus on business domains like residential mortgage, financial services, or lending operations.


• Proven track record in scaling enterprise AI products, especially those leveraging large language models or generative AI.


• Experience managing end-to-end product lifecycles, from concept to successful market adoption.


• Define and drive creative, detailed product definition of new capabilities, manage prioritization and trade-offs among competing high value opportunities and partner closely with design & engineering teams to deliver products to customers.

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of modern AI/ML, including foundation models, vector databases, fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks.


• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices, serverless computing) and DevOps practices.

Leadership & Communication

• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire product managers, fostering a high-performing team culture.


• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.


• Partner closely with GTM, Sales and external customers to build and communicate a compelling vision for the mortgage application to drive strategic alignment and unlock customer value.

• Analytical thinker with a keen ability to interpret market trends, assess competition, and identify opportunities for differentiation.


• Adept at defining adaptable product strategies in fast-evolving, competitive landscapes.

Educational Background

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, or PhD) are preferred but not mandatory.
