Key Areas of Responsibilities
Comprehensive building of ECM pipeline with primary focus on 3 products:
Qualified Institutions Placements: 1) Existing relationships (Kunal s and Firm s), 2) Research view, 3) Ability to sell. Accessing these three parameters to pitch for a deal - Kunal should be involved in originating at least 4 QIP deals during CY2025. Block Deals: Leveraging PE and promoter relationships (Kunal s and Firm s). Identifying such opportunities, working with IE to determine possibilities of pitching, winning and executing such mandates. - target origination of blocks aggregating USD200mn. IPOs: Working with the rest of the IB team and sector bankers, systematically going after names which are planning to list in the next 1-3 years. Assist in 10 IPO pitches.
Utilize existing relationships to win mandates for CLSA. This will also mean work closely with the sector teams and IE so that the client can view the team as both sector and product experts. Adding existing relationships to the current client base of CLSA to enhance the client base and improve the number of clients which in turn add to the funnel of deals that are being targeted. Build relationships with at least 10 new clients.
Work closely with the sector teams to pitch for deals. Work closely with the sector bankers to work on the pitch presentation book, especially on the Markets/Investors sections. Give client comfort on CLSA s ability to place the deal during the pitching process. This can be achieved by :

Target - Work on all ECM pitches (at least 15) along with the Bankers
End to end transaction execution: Once an ECM mandate is received become the single point of contact for the client and the team. Be responsible for end-to-end execution including but not limited to:
Documentation
Agreements
Roadshows
Syndication
Target - Oversee all ECM related execution and syndicate work on live mandates
Investors: Maintain relationship with ECM desks of large funds and select domestic investors.
Target - Develop and maintain such relationships with at least 10 ECM desks.
Team: Working seamlessly with the IB and IE teams. Acting as a mentor to the junior execution pool.
Requirements
Master s degree or above in any discipline
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in investment Banking domain
Extensive knowledge of Indian market, project management and client serving.
In-depth understanding of Indian Market
Strong analytical and quantitative, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking skills, able to work independently, attention to details, result-driven/ self-motivated, self-starter
Excellent command of English language, fluent in both spoken and written
