Job Description

As a Chemical Engineering professional with 15 to 20 years of experience, including at least 8 years in Consultancy, Design Engineering, Refinery/Gas Plant Operations, or EPC Organization related to Refinery and/or Petrochemical Plant design, you will be responsible for the process design and development of various Refinery processes and other related areas like LNG, Gas Processing, and Specialty Chemicals. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Refinery processes including Gas/Oil/Water Separation Plants, Crude/Vacuum Distillation, Naphtha/Gas Oil Hydrotreating, Naphtha Reforming, Fluid Catalytic Cracking, Alkylation, Delayed Coking, Hydrocracking, Sulfur Recovery, etc. - Work on Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), LNG Regassification, Gas Processing and Treating, and Specialty Chemicals (Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Hydrogen Plants). - Update Design Procedures/Manuals and identify training needs and seminars. - Develop Basic Engineering Packages and Process Simulations using software like PRO/II, Hysis, or ASPEN Plus. - Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), Material Flow Diagrams, and Operating Manuals. - Lead Client/Contractor P&ID reviews and actively participate in Hazop/SIL reviews. - Demonstrate organizational abilities to motivate the team towards achieving competitive designs with safety and quality as priorities. - Plan and manage resources effectively, showcasing leadership qualities and a proven track record of achievements. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Chemical Engineering (BE / B Tech) from a reputable University. A Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering will be a plus. - Familiarity with Industry processes. - Experience in resources planning and management. - Strong leadership skills and a focus on safety and quality.
