Principal Application Engineer

As an experienced developer with over 10 years of experience on J2EE platforms, Microservices architecture UI stack, and Database Programming, you will play a crucial role in developing microservices using Spring Boot on Oracle Cloud platform. Your hands-on experience in the development of Banking applications, coupled with a good understanding of the Banking domain, will be essential for this role. Additionally, your knowledge of Java/JEE technologies and frameworks such as JPA, JDBC, and REST will be highly valuable. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop highly efficient code for the product - Architect and design large scalable applications - Develop microservices using Spring Boot on Oracle Cloud platform - Utilize in-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL Programming for building highly scalable applications - Write advanced SQL queries and ensure expertise in RDBMS concepts - Implement SOAP and RESTful services - Maintain unit tests using testing frameworks like JUnit - Coordinate within the team and across global IT teams - Translate business needs into viable technical solutions - Provide direction and mentoring to team members Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent - Experience in JavaScript development and Oracle PL/SQL Programming - Familiarity with WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, etc. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task - Knowledge of AI/ML, Data Science is an added advantage Please note that additional details about the company were not included in the provided job description.,
