Primary Teacher (PRT)

Job Summary:

Vikas Mantra Public School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher (PRT) to teach and nurture students from Grades I to V in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
• Use creative and innovative teaching methods to ensure conceptual clarity and skill development.
• Integrate technology and experiential learning in classroom activities.

Student Development

• Foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
• Monitor and assess individual student progress regularly.
• Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special needs.

Classroom Management

• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote positive behavior and uphold the school’s code of conduct.

Assessment & Reporting

• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate academic records and report student progress to parents and the academic coordinator.

Parent & Staff Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and development.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement academic and co-curricular activities.

Other Duties

• Assist in organizing school functions, competitions, and extracurricular programs.
• Undertake duties assigned by the Principal or Academic Coordinator from time to time.

• Strong command over English (spoken and written).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards children.
• Ability to integrate digital tools and innovative teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. (Mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• Specialization in relevant subjects preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience in a recognized CBSE school.
• Freshers with strong teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time (Monday to Saturday, as per school timetable)

Remuneration:

• As per school norms and experience level.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,942.49 - ₹25,000.00 per month
