Job Title: Primary English & EVS Teacher (Grades 1 & 2) Qualifications: B.Ed / D.Ed in English & EVS Experience: Minimum 1 year teaching experience Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary English & EVS Teacher for Grades 1 and 2. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in early childhood pedagogy, a love for teaching young learners, and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Environmental Studies as per the school’s curriculum framework. Use creative teaching aids, activities, and real-life examples to simplify concepts for young learners. Foster reading, writing, comprehension, and environmental awareness in students. Maintain records of student progress and prepare report cards. Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback. Establish a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities and school events. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication with parents. Skills & Competencies: Strong command over the English language (spoken and written). Sound knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Classroom management and student engagement skills. Basic computer skills for digital record-keeping and communication.
