Pricing Support Specialist - Supervising Associate

As a Pricing Support Specialist - Supervising Associate within the Pricing & Contract Management team aligned to the Strategic Pricing and Insights Group based out of GDS at EY, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the firm's commercial transformation by providing tailored pursuit support, activating self-enabled tools, and developing thought leadership to accelerate a value-focused pricing and commercial culture. Leveraging a robust set of sales, price, solution, and commercial benchmarks and analytics, you'll work on creating and refining pricing models under the guidance of Manager/ Sr. Manager for various pursuits spanning different business models. Your role will involve supporting the creation of multiple iterations of hypotheses to support solution testing and refinement, as well as actively seeking to improve your pricing and commercial acumen through learning and development initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide support to the Manager/ Sr. Manager across all pricing, financial, and commercial aspects of the pursuits from qualification to close. - Refine pricing models based on the differentiated value of solutions provided and integrate market benchmarks and competitive intelligence to shape pursuits effectively. - Assist in providing data and intelligence to the Commercial Architect in collaboration meetings with solution architects and domain experts. - Support pursuit leaders by offering researched perspectives on competitor solutions, pricing, and commercial positioning to be utilized as part of the win strategy. - Curate market and competitive intelligence to support pursuits in pricing with conviction, resulting in increased win odds and profitable growth. - Assist in modeling forecasted economics based on accounting standards and internal policies, ensuring a compelling ROI for EY and clients. - Contribute to the development of commercial constructs and terms that align with the best interests of EY and the client, incentivizing mutually aligned behaviors and differentiation. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-6+ years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in pricing and commercial functions. - Masters degree in relevant fields such as finance, accounting, statistics, or equivalent practical experience. - Exposure to financial modeling, accounting, budgeting, and associated metrics. **Skills and Attributes:** - Ability to execute performance standards independently with a high degree of autonomy. - Proficiency in financial modeling and strong financial acumen. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. - High proficiency in collaborating, dealing with ambiguity, and adapting to changes. - Expertise in MS Office applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Ability to travel as required.
