Description
As a SOW and Pricing Manager at Ascendion, your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing Project/RFPs/RFQs, contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to confirm pricing proposal compliance. - Generating detailed pricing proposals and margin/deal sheets consistent with the pricing strategy, with in-depth knowledge of financial management basics, cost accounting, profitability analysis, standardized rate card creations, and technology market standard salaries. - Developing cost proposal schedules, cost models, and cost narratives based on client/project requirements using a range of estimating techniques. - Reviewing staffing solutions and preparing estimates for accuracy and compliance with project requirements. - Assessing the operational viability and integrity of cost assumptions and developing more suitable cost assumptions when applicable. - Working closely with Sales/Delivery team technical subject matter experts on a project-by-project basis to facilitate pricing solutions in response to complex requirements. - Independently working on proposals coordinating resource estimating requirements, estimating schedules, and allocation of time. - Analyzing and reporting on inconsistencies, identifying additional resources to cost for later availability, and preparing complete Cost Proposals based on project requirements. - Supporting major contract types such as Fixed Price, Unit Pricing, Time and Materials, Cost-Plus, etc. - Collaborating with internal teams to determine anticipated labor and overhead rates, equipment costs, and possible bid strategies. Additionally, as the SOW and Pricing Manager, you will also be responsible for managing SOW contracts by: - Managing the SOW creation process from intake to delivery. - Assigning the appropriate resources to build SOW content and coordinating all necessary SOW reviews and approvals. - Executing processes to ensure SOWs and amendments written are thorough and error-free. - Reviewing incoming contract/SOW review requests for completeness and accuracy. - Working with stakeholders including Delivery, Legal, Sourcing, and various internal teams to ensure exceptions to standard terms are thoroughly reviewed and approved prior to contract approval. - Collaborating with the sales team to document requirements for creating statements of work and meeting client format and template. - Supporting scope writing and requests for SOW revisions. - Assisting with tracking the status of open contracts until signed.
