Pricing Specialist - Air Freight

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive quotes for import/export Air Freight. Your role will involve liaising with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to obtain the best rates and space availability. It will be your duty to analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor pricing strategies. Additionally, you will support the sales and business development teams with rate sheets and pricing solutions. You must also ensure accuracy in rate calculations, surcharges, and currency conversions and maintain strong vendor and carrier relationships to secure preferential pricing. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and submit competitive quotes for import/export Air Freight - Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to obtain best rates and space availability - Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor pricing strategies - Support the sales and business development teams with rate sheets and pricing solutions - Maintain updated tariffs, contracts, and rate agreements in the pricing system - Ensure accuracy in rate calculations, surcharges, and currency conversions - Maintain strong vendor and carrier relationships to secure preferential pricing Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any relevant field - 3 years of experience in pricing, preferably in a freight forwarding environment - Good knowledge of INCOTERMS, sea and air freight terms, and shipping documentation - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Proficient in MS Office and pricing software tools Company Details: (Omitting this section as no additional details of the company are provided in the job description),
