Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Organize, classify, and securely store all IREP records in physical formats, covering loan files, legal agreements, KYC documents, transaction histories, and compliance records.
Implement preservation policies for permanent and periodic retention per RBI, Companies Act, and internal directives (e.g., permanent, 5/8/10 years, undisbursed for 2 years).
Ensure files are accessible for authorized internal users and auditors while maintaining strict access controls to prohibit unauthorized access.
Monitor and maintain document integrity, preventing tampering, alteration, or destruction; support archival procedures to safeguard older records.
Maintain a metadata inventory for all stored records to facilitate quick retrieval and compliance reporting.

Compliance and Security

Uphold statutory retention requirements for different document categories as per regulatory mandates (e.g., RBI, income tax, AML/KYC).
Regularly review storage processes for alignment with IT security policies, including access control and segregation of duties between user management and system administration.
Cooperate with audits by providing complete, timely access to required files and resolving discrepancies swiftly.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in record management, document control, or IT storage systems.
Familiarity with NBFC sector policies regarding document retention, regulatory audit practices, and data protection standards.
Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation updates.
