Location: Bangalore , Chennai Position Overview: The Pre-Sales Technical Consultant plays a key role in supporting the sales team by providing deep technical expertise, solution design, and product demonstrations to potential clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, aligning solutions to their needs, and driving the technical aspects of the sales cycle to ensure successful deal closures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Consultation & Solution Design: Engage with channel partners/customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements. Design and propose tailored solutions that align with the customers objectives. Provide recommendations on product configurations, integrations, and best practices. 2. Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Conduct technical product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and workshops. Create compelling presentations and showcase product capabilities effectively. 3. Sales Support & Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to develop winning strategies for customer engagements. Address customer concerns, objections, and technical queries during the sales cycle. Assist in RFP/RFI responses and solution documentation. 6. Training & Enablement: Conduct training sessions for partners pre-sales/sales teams on product features and technical selling points. Support customers in the on boarding process when required. Required Skills & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sale, solutions consulting, or pre-sales engineering role. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Enterprise Networking (Routing, Switching, Wireless), Cloud managed IT (Meraki, Aruba, Fortigate etc.) Unified collaboration and communication - UCC, Cybersecurity, Data centre, cloud computing. Presentation Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Customer-Focused: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand customer pain points. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach. Certifications (Preferred): Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper or other relevant technical certifications.
