Role Overview

Presales Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements, business challenges, and technical needs.
  • Design, architect, and present

    end-to-end technical solutions

    aligned with client requirements and organizational offerings.
  • Deliver

    product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)

    to customers.
  • Respond to

    RFPs, RFIs, and proposals

    with accurate and compelling technical solutions.
  • Act as a

    trusted advisor

    to clients, articulating the value proposition of solutions in both technical and business terms.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are

    scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices

    .
  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to validate solution feasibility and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance on

    pricing, licensing, and solution configurations

    during the presales cycle.
  • Stay updated with

    emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings

    to effectively position company solutions.
  • Support sales closure by addressing technical objections and building client confidence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a

    Solution Architect, Presales Consultant, or Technical Consultant

    in [your industry/sector, e.g., IT services, SaaS, cloud solutions].
  • Strong technical knowledge in areas such as

    cloud computing, networking, security, enterprise applications, SaaS, or custom solutions

    (adjust per company domain).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in

    RFP/RFI responses, proposal creation, and solution presentations

    .
  • Ability to translate business requirements into

    technical solutions

    .
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, TOGAF, ITIL, etc.) are highly desirable.
