Presales Solution Architect

**Job Description:** As a TechSales Solutions Consultant at Hitachi Vantara, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the direct sales team and partners to support all presales solution aspects of the sales cycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical sales support to the sales team and partners, taking the lead in engagements - Focusing on customer engagements in ongoing opportunities - Leveraging technical relationships to create new opportunities through consultative selling - Supporting RFI/RFP preparation, highlighting differentiators and benefits in solution proposals - Engaging technically with key partners for joint solution development and demonstrations - Leading initial solution demonstrations to customers and partners - Assisting in pre-sales to post-sale transition for smooth implementation and customer satisfaction **Qualifications Required:** - Strong ability to identify, document, and articulate business and technical requirements of prospective customers throughout the sales cycle - Excellent communication skills to present software capabilities effectively through written, oral, and product demonstrations - Customer-facing and presentation skills - Collaboration and teamwork within HV and partner teams - Proactive approach in leading engagements and strengthening HV's presence - Excellent writing and quantitative skills for proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and MS PowerPoint presentations - High energy, enthusiasm, persistence, discipline, and a strong desire to succeed - Willingness to go the extra mile for success, including teamwork and issue resolution - Ability to travel as needed **Technical Skills Required:** - Good technical experience in Data Center level infrastructure with a focus on Storage - Understanding of Object Storage technologies - Minimum 8 years of experience with 5 years in a presales role - Experience with Database, Application integration, etc. - Experience in conducting demos - Ability to lead consultative workshops to demonstrate business value At Hitachi Vantara, you will join a global team of innovators dedicated to co-creating meaningful solutions to complex challenges.
