Plant Head (Precast Factory)

The Role :

The incumbent shall be the first level person who shall set up the Pre-cast plant from a greenfield to the production of the all kind of Building components. Post set up of the plant/ facility the incumbent shall oversee the daily operations of manufacturing facilities, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position is pivotal in driving the plants productivity, maintaining quality standards, facilitating timely maintenance, and managing staff to achieve organizational objectives.

The core Functional Responsibilities :

The incumbent 's responsibilities are diverse and dynamic that covers the entire gamut of plant and production activities.

• To set and establish the Manufacturing facility.
• Forecasting Purpose: PPC involves making future projections to create effective schedules.
• Scheduling Purpose: PPC provides a detailed timetable for manufacturing activities.
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize all the resources to produce optimal results and maintained COST, Quality and Delivery objectives.
• Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to ensure the Program is attainted. Include supervising all aspects of the plant operations, from production and procurement to quality control and maintenance.
• Coordinating plant activities through planning with Site / project heads across the company to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Managing and leading staff, including recruitment, development, and retention.

The Person :

• Engineering Graduate (Preferably Civil), MBA or qualified in Business and Operation Management.
• Proven work experience particularly setting up the Precast concrete Manufacturing plant Factory and hands on experience of 15-20 years in precast factory of which at least 5-7 years as a Precast Factory /Plant Head.
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes and importantly Logistic.
• Strong Leadership Qualities, team building, decision-making and people management skills.
