Heavens Portfolio is inviting professionals with a passion for travel and the luxury industry to apply for the role of PR Manager - India (Mumbai based, full-time).

 

Heavens Portfolio is globally renowned hotel representation company with offices across Asia, Europe, GCC and Australia, that works with the world’s most luxurious and alluring travel brands and experiences, such as Cheval Blanc by LVMH, Oetker Hotels, Capella Hotel Group, Chiva-Som, Peninsula Hotels and many others. We represent a curated collection of unique, exclusive, and truly unforgettable travel providers from around the globe, ranging from luxury hotels to wellness resorts and boutique retreats, and also Destination Marketing Companies (DMCs) and tourism boards.

 

About the Role

 

The main responsibility of this role is focused on day-to-day handling of client PR activities, media relations, and various marketing activities.

 

  • Support in developing and executing integrated communications plans and related initiatives for the India market
  • Maintain and develop strong traditional and online media relationships
  • Identify, cultivate and manage high-level relationships with journalists, bloggers, travel & lifestyle influencers and industry experts.
  • Regularly localise, distribute, and sell-in press releases to media as well as pitch story angles to secure high-quality coverage for clients
  • Liaising with Tourism Board and airline partners in developing media FAM trip opportunities
  • Plan and manage media events and interview opportunities for clients as needed
  • Liaising with luxury brands and relevant partners for special projects and events, or marketing collaborations and joint promotion opportunities
  • Update and maintain media profile and database
  • Experience of producing and presenting reports showcasing media and marketing ROI
  • Regular monitoring of competitor activities and other administrative responsibilities

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Public Relations or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in public relations, media communication and event management, preferably in the domain of travel/ hospitality
  • Extensive media contacts and experience in local market is a must
  • Proactive and pleasant with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent in spoken and written English
  • Organized, ambitious, passionate, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Interest in luxury brands and travel a benefit
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and social media platforms
