Company: Samnic Tech Pvt Ltd Location: Remote & Onsite (Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh) Salary: Up to ₹1.5 Lakh per month + Performance Bonus (Negotiable based on experience) Experience Required: 4+ Years Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: Samnic Tech Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineer to lead the battery and power management systems for our innovative Mithun Detection System Project , which focuses on long-range cattle tracking across challenging terrains. You will design ultra-low-power systems, optimize battery life to exceed 3 years, and integrate optional solar solutions. This role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and onsite at our Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh location. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement low-power architectures using Li-SOCl₂ batteries . Develop power management circuits with deep sleep and wake cycles. Optimize battery life to achieve a minimum of 3 years operational time . Integrate solar panels and smart charging solutions to support continuous operation. Ensure thermal, environmental, and water-resistant protection of the battery units. Conduct power audits, simulations, and field testing in real conditions. Prepare detailed power consumption and maintenance documentation. Collaborate with Embedded and IoT teams for seamless system integration. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in battery systems, power optimization, and embedded hardware. Strong knowledge of Li-ion, LiPo, Li-SOCl₂ batteries, and solar charging systems. Experience with power-saving modes in microcontroller-based systems. Familiarity with low-dropout regulators, protection circuits, and energy harvesting. Field deployment experience is a plus.
