Job Description & Objective:
To engage a skilled resource to conduct a comparative analysis of observability and data lineage tools, in order to identify the most suitable solutions aligned with our organization’s requirements for monitoring, tracing, and managing data flow and quality.
🔹 Scope of Work:
· Research and evaluate leading observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry)
· Evaluate data lineage tools (e.g., Apache Atlas, AWS Data Zone)
· Define key evaluation criteria (integration, scalability, cost, features, compliance, support)
· Hands-on testing and proof of concept (PoC), where feasible
· Prepare a comparative report with pros, cons, and recommendations
· Present findings to internal stakeholders
🔹 Skills Required:
· Experience with observability platforms and telemetry data
· Knowledge of data lineage tools and concepts
· Strong analytical and reporting skills
· Familiarity with cloud and on-prem environments
· Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
· Hands-on experience with Power BI & ETL
🔹 Deliverables:
· Detailed comparative study report
· Presentation summarizing findings
· Recommendations for tool adoption
