Job Summary

Payments / POS Test Engineer

Point of Sale (POS) testing, card payment systems, and end-to-end transaction validation

Key Responsibilities

• Perform POS testing, covering various transaction types, Back Office Solutions (BOS), and interface/integration scenarios.
• Conduct physical card testing (Magstripe, EMV, Contactless) on terminals.
• Validate EMV/Chip card transaction flows and analyze E2E logs.
• Ensure compliance with PA-DSS standards and EMV certifications.
• Test electronic card payment systems, including B2B and B2C card solutions.
• Perform Certification / Acquirer Certification / Accreditation Testing for card payment solutions.
• Apply knowledge of software development and testing models to design test cases.
• Use ALM/HPQC or other test management tools to track and manage defects.
• Plan, execute, and coordinate end-to-end test activities with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain test documentation and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in POS systems, card payment solutions, and EMV/Chip card transactions.
• Knowledge of PA-DSS compliance and EMV certification processes.
• Proficient in test management and defect management tools.
• Good understanding of software testing techniques and models.
• Ability to execute end-to-end testing and coordinate with multiple teams.
