Job Description

The Business Analytics Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role that requires in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes within the area. You will integrate subject matter expertise and industry knowledge to understand how different areas collectively work together within the sub-function and align with the overall objectives of the function and business. Your role will involve evaluating moderately complex issues with significant potential impact, requiring the weighing of various alternatives and balancing conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong analytical skills are essential to filter, prioritize, and validate complex material from various sources. Additionally, effective communication and diplomacy skills are crucial as you will regularly assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams and be involved in coaching and training new recruits. Your influence will have a significant impact on project size, geography, etc., through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in your area of specialization, directly affecting the work and performance of all teams in the area. Responsibilities: - Gather operational data from cross-functional stakeholders to analyze past business performance - Identify data patterns & trends to provide insights for enhancing business decision-making capability - Recommend actions for future developments, strategic opportunities, and operational policy enhancements - Conduct exploratory and confirmatory data analysis, as well as qualitative analysis - Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies - Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring new data sources, tools, and capabilities - Collaborate with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and enhance decision strategies - Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets Qualifications: - 8-10 years of experience - Strong analytical and business strategy skills - Effective communication and presentation skills - Project and process management abilities - Proficiency in financial services analytics - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Solid organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Self-starter with the ability to work successfully in a team environment and drive results Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience This job description offers a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required.
