Portfolio Manager, Associate

Role Overview: As a Portfolio Manager Associate at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India, you will be a part of the Risk & Portfolio Management (RPM) team within the global Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) group. Your role involves developing and coordinating a comprehensive risk-to-revenue strategy to maximize portfolio risk/returns while proactively managing risk and balance sheet consumption for Trade Finance & Lending. You will be responsible for ensuring TF&L performs optimally within Key Performance Indicators for risk and resource utilization on a regional and global level. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and drive portfolio optimization to ensure the TF&L portfolio performs within agreed Key Performance Indicators - Increase transparency on the portfolio through reporting and analysis, including country, industry, and client reviews - Facilitate the preparation of regular portfolio reports and automate/streamline related tasks, processes, and data sourcing - Perform ad hoc analytics for senior management and external requests - Monitor overall portfolio financial & risk metrics and risk-return performance - Liaise with regional RPM teams and key stakeholders to shape TF&L and wider CB risk and resource utilization strategy Qualifications Required: - 4-6 years of work experience in Finance/Economics field - Background in portfolio/credit risk/rating agency desired - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix structures - Strong communication skills with excellent English, both orally and written - Flexibility and willingness to work for a global team with intensive international exposure - Experience with Trade Finance & Lending products and regulatory topics is a plus Additional Details: Deutsche Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package including a best-in-class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, Employee Assistance Program, hospitalization insurance, accident and term life insurance, health screening, and more.
