Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Head (Electrical) to join our growing team at A.K. Builders, an MSME construction firm specializing in the design and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in both residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning:
• Develop electrical layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings for electrical installations in various construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure the electrical design integrates seamlessly with other building systems.
• Project Execution:
• Supervise the installation of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
• Ensure that installations comply with technical specifications, project requirements, and national/local electrical codes and regulations.
• Quality Control & Testing:
• Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems to verify functionality and safety.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s quality standards and industry regulations throughout the installation and maintenance process.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:
• Identify and resolve electrical issues, performing diagnostic tests and providing solutions on-site when necessary.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of electrical system designs, testing results, and other project-related documentation.
• Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and senior engineers.
• Cost Management:
• Assist in estimating project costs related to electrical works.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of electrical projects.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their needs and provide electrical solutions that align with project goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in construction or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and safety regulations (such as NEC, IEC, IS Standards).
• Proficiency in using electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of construction processes and the ability to adapt electrical designs to site-specific conditions.
• Prior Experience of Heading a project worth Rs 45 crores or above to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (e.g., Licensed Electrical Engineer).
• Experience working in an MSME environment or on small to medium-sized construction projects.
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems (solar, wind) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with typical working hours.
• Occasional travel to project sites.
• Health and safety regulations must always be followed, especially when on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
